The most critical aspect to the quality of your espresso
is your grind size. In a grinder, the coffee beans are crushed and ground between two grinding discs.
Grinding the coffee increases the extraction surface for the hot water and aids in the transfer of soluble components in the coffee.
For freshness it is important to grind coffee beans on demand in amounts you will use at that time. Only the correct grind of the coffee can extract the full aroma and flavour of the coffee beans.
Grind to a degree that suits your brewing method,
- Fine grind – Espresso
- Medium grind – Stove Top/Drip Filter
- Coarse grind – Plunger/Percolator
