- Keep your coffee in an airtight container, in a cool, dry room away from sunlight.
- Ideally coffee should be kept at around 7 degrees Celsius.
- Do not store your coffee near smelly food stuffs or chemicals as it will absorb these odours.
- A good coffee roaster should supply you with coffee beans in strong foil bags, with a one way valve to allow for the release of carbon dioxide (the gas given off after roasting).
